How do I share a moment?

← All help topics

Share a garden memory as an image. Open a walk, choose a memory, and select Share a Moment from its menu. You can also share a memory from a plant’s page.

01Choose a style

  • Photo keeps the full photo with only its date and a small “Shared from sow.garden” credit. It is ready immediately.
  • Haiku pairs the plant’s name and photo with a three-line poem.
  • Field Note pairs the plant’s name and photo with a short observation.
  • Spicy adds a bold headline to the photo.

Haiku, Field Note, and Spicy need an internet connection the first time their text is prepared. Sow saves that text with the memory so you can use it again. If preparation fails, choose Try Again, or select Photo to share without generated text.

To replace wording you do not like, choose Haiku, Field Note, or Spicy, then open the menu and select Rewrite share text. This prepares new text for all three styles and needs an internet connection. Your saved text is replaced only after the new text is ready and saved.

02Share the image

Check the preview, then tap Share Image. Choose an app or save the image using the sharing options on your device. Sow shares the image without adding a separate caption.
