What is Sow?

Sow is a voice-first garden journal for iPhone and iPad. Take a Garden Walk, say what you notice, and return to the story your garden is building over time.

Do I need both an iPhone and an iPad?

No. Sow works beautifully on either device. Your garden journal is available on iPhone and iPad.

How much will Sow cost?

Sow is free during TestFlight. We currently expect the public version to cost $5.99 a month after a one-week free trial. We will finalize included Garden Walk usage before launch.

What happens after TestFlight?

We will share the final subscription details before public release. TestFlight is free while we learn from a small group of gardeners.

What is a Garden Walk?

A Garden Walk is a moment to walk outside, tap once, and speak about what you notice. Sow keeps those observations as part of your garden story.

Is there a maximum length for a Garden Walk?

Yes. Each recording is up to five minutes, which helps Sow save your walk reliably. You can continue the same walk later that day, and Sow will keep those moments together.

Does Sow use AI?

Yes. When you finish a Garden Walk, Sow sends the audio to OpenAI for transcription. The resulting text is then sent to OpenAI for organisation into a garden memory. Your garden stays yours. We do not use your journal to train advertising profiles or sell your data. Read the privacy details.
