SowRequest a TestFlight invitation

Website submissions privacy

A clear policy for notes you send us.

What happens when you write to Sow, ask for TestFlight, subscribe to updates, or send a plant idea.

Plain language

We use your message to respond.

Sow's private website system helps us answer questions, coordinate TestFlight, consider plant suggestions, and send updates to people who ask. It is separate from your private garden journal.

We ask only for information that helps with the request you choose. You can ask us to delete website-submitted information at any time.

01

Your contact details are for the conversation.

When you write to us, we use your name, email address, and message to respond and keep a useful record of the request. We do not sell that information.

02

TestFlight requests stay practical.

If you request a TestFlight invitation, we use your contact email, device preference, and any note you choose to share to coordinate an invitation. Product updates are optional and require a separate choice.

03

Updates are opt-in.

We use newsletter contact details only for people who ask to hear from Sow. You can unsubscribe using the option in an email or by writing to luke@sow.garden.

04

Plant illustration requests use OpenAI.

When you request a plant illustration, Sow sends the plant name and request details to OpenAI's image-generation API to produce a candidate illustration. Any optional reference photograph is kept privately for our review and is not sent to OpenAI.

05

Website analytics are your choice.

Your browser remembers your analytics choice. Google Analytics loads only when you accept optional analytics. You can change that choice from Cookie settings in the footer.

06

You can ask us to remove a submission.

Email luke@sow.garden from the address you used, tell us what you would like removed, and we will review the request. We may keep only what is necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect the service.
