How do I add a photo?

Screenshots

Photos make each memory easier to recognize later. You can add one as soon as a Garden Walk is complete or return to a memory whenever you are ready.

01Open the memory

Open a memory from Walks or Plants. Each memory has its own photo, so the photo stays with the observation you recorded.

02Choose a photo

If the memory shows an illustration, tap Add a photo. If it already has a photo, open the photo options menu. Then choose Take Photo or Choose from Library.

03Adjust and save it

After you take or choose a photo, select one of Sow's filters, such as Morning or Herbarium, if you want one. Adjust its intensity and set the square crop. Then save it. Sow adds the result to the memory and uses it in Walks and Plants.

04Choose a saved photo size

In Settings, choose Saved Photo Size to control how much detail Sow keeps for future photos. Choose Small to save space, Medium for a balanced 3,000-pixel copy, or Full Size when you want the best option for printing.

05Replace a photo later

You can replace a photo at any time from the photo options menu. Sow creates a saved copy for your journal and does not change the original in your photo library.
